The Most Awful Things for Your Waistline

By Dana Hayes

Are you sick of feeling like a chub or a pudge? Are you tired of trying to fight your muffin top only to lose the fight every single day? Believe it or not, some of those daily habits that you don't even really think about, might be keeping you from becoming thin. There are all sorts of awful habits that keep us weighing more than we wish to weigh. Here are a few of the habits you have to consider changing if you really wish to look and feel better about your waistline.

Consuming a diet consisting primarily of foods that are low in fat or have no fat at all. Here's a fact: low fat or fat free foods aren't actually better for you. What gets eliminated in fat is ordinarily added in sugars. These sugars trigger a sugar rush and then a sugar crash and then rebound hunger so you simply go on eating. Go for the taste buds and just eat the full fat versions of your favorite foods. Your levels of energy will improve while your food cravings will lessen.

Trying to figure out your nutrition on your own can oftentimes makeyou stagnate in your weight. When you view it on a surface level, nutrition sounds to be very straightforward. The truth is that it is really a complicated topic. If you want to embark on a campaign to become healthy and slim down, you should make at least one appointment with a nutritionist. A dietitian can help you determine exactly how much of which foods you should consume and help you plan a diet that is reasonable and healthy.

Failure to get adequate sleep. Studies have found that those who want to lose weight have a tougher time doing so if they don't get enough sleep and actually get more belly fat than those who get between six and seven hours per night. You've probably heard eight hours all your life, but six or seven has been found to be the most advantageous for people who are trying to slim down.

If you're trying to be thin and get rid of a muffin top, softdrink is not good, even when you only drink the diet kind. Individuals who drink one to two softdrinks daily are more likely, by thirty percent, to have weight issues. Individuals who drink diet soda pop will have waistlines that grow up to five times more quickly than people who do not drink soda at all. So get rid of that soda and drink some water!

There are many minor, every day, kinds of things that keep us from achieving the weight we desire to achieve. Even minor things like having a softdrinks, mapping out your own diet plan, staying away from fat calories and limiting your sleep are all contributing factors to an increased waistline. Work with your doctor to determine if any of your habits could be impeding your weight loss attempts.
