Skunk Problem Solved? - Walkway Lights Review

By Logan Anderson

Additionally, it won't activate at night with the only source of light in my room being from the aquarium. I am using one as an entry light for my basement, and the other as a floodlight for my backyard. The automated motion sensor is extremely delicate. It really works amazing - extremely bright and illuminates the area great. They illuminate the entire lawn.

It was also really simple to set up. The illumination is great - particularly considering this really is battery powered; I'm truly astounded by the amount of light provided. This is actually the second Darcy that I have purchased. It is almost all plastic, however it seems to be built well. Second, the biggest trouble with the walkway light is it does not turn on when there is movement! They are fantastic little lights for the cost and work as advertised. Therefore it is not likely to replace 150w floods lights, but more than enough to see your way around. The first I ordered has been sitting in the Seattle rain for months now, and works completely. The removable bollard light is effective.

Also, reviewers that state that it stays on, must have read the directions. One shines on my back door which is the one nearest my driveway, and also the one I use to go in the home. The sensors are advertised, and are completely responsive. Precisely what we needed. I place them high enough, although not so high that I cannot change the batteries (which you'll need three D batteries) with a ladder.

Turns on to movement during the night and turn on during the day. So far as I'm concerned a bollard lighting company that doesn't supply simple replacement components is not really worth doing business with. The light is simply too bright to look at, and that means you can't see the security alarm motion detector unit I mounted behind it aimed within the exact same path as the light.

Apart from the trouble or returning them (Amazon makes it pretty simple but it still takes time), I have been happy with the units. Motion sensor is effective (much better than I was expecting), the one LED throws mad light, simple to set up, just about everything I hoped for.

Additional, they've been great for alerting us if anybody or anything enters our yard. Extremely bright light coming from a very small bulb. I'll need to see how long the batteries last but to date I'm happy with the TCP lighting unit.

I purchased two of these models to eliminate the need to carry a flashlight to find keyholes anytime I returned home at night, and to light the way between automobile and doorway.

Recommend. Puts out a substantial amount of light (I put it on the dim setting and it is still extraordinary) and seem like it might offend the neighbors like a regular floodlight might.
